TRIBES IN ETHIOPIA AND THEIR FASHION
Generally, Ethiopia traditional costume is made of woven cotton. Both men and women wear this costume called gabbi or Netella. Women wear dresses (habesha kemis) and netella with borders of coloured embroidered woven crosses or other designs.
The Oromos
Men put on Woya which are toga-like robes, usually white and a skirt called wandabo. The women wear qollo and sadetta, a cotton cloths traditionally hand –spun and hand-woven.






The Amharas
They are the second largest ethnic group in ethiopia, There attire is similar to that of Oromo






The Somalis
The men wear ma’awiis which is a sarong –like garment worn around their waist while the women wear theirs crossing one part of their shoulder, most times with veil and jewelries








The Tigrayans
They wear more of Habesha sew into different styles. The habesha is mostly crossed embroidery design
